Dr.-Ing. Peter Heidemeyer
Dr. Peter Heidemeyer studied Mechanical Engineering and Plastics Technology at the University of Dortmund and at RWTH Aachen and obtained his doctorate at the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV) in 1990. He worked as the Head of the Extrusion / Further Processing Department at IKV from 1990 to 1992. Thereafter, he moved to Krupp Werner & Pfleiderer (today, Coperion) in Stuttgart where he became the Head of the Product Development / New Technologies Department. As from November 2006, he managed the Technology Division (development, process engineering and technical centre). Since July 2009, he has been responsible for plastics research and development in the business management of the South German Plastics Centre (SKZ) in Würzburg.
