Dr. Sabine Kressirer

Dr. Sabine Kressirer studied Chemistry at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena and graduated in 2007. Afterwards she wrote her PhD thesis about research accompanying life cycle assessment supporting the development of chemical processes at the Institute of Technical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry in Jena. 2011, she finished her PhD thesis, subsequently worked as a post-doc in two EU projects, and joined The German Plastics Centre (SKZ), Würzburg, in 2012. Now, she is working as scientific researcher in the "Sustainability" division focussing on life cycle assessment in the processing of plastics, e.g., extrusion, compounding and joining processes.
