Dr.-Ing. Ruben Schlutter

Ruben Schlutter studied mechanical engineering with a focus on product development/design at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences. After completing his studies, he was a research assistant at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences. From 2013 to 2016, Mr. Schlutter was a cooperative doctoral student at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences and Chemnitz University of Technology and completed his doctorate in the field of injection moulding simulation. From 2016 to 2019, Mr. Schlutter worked as a research assistant and project manager at the Kunststoff-Institut für die mittelständische Wirtschaft in Lüdenscheid. In 2020, he moved to the non-profit KIMW-Forschungs-GmbH and became project manager and division manager for mold technology and new materials. In 2022, Mr. Schlutter was self-employed in the field of training and further education. Since June 2023, he has been Group Leader of the Component Properties Group at SKZ in Würzburg.
