M. Eng. David Sommer

David Sommer studied electrical engineering and information technology at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences. He then began his work as a research assistant in the working group for applied laser technology and photonics at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences under the direction of Prof. Hellmann. His current research work focuses on the hybrid additive manufacturing of Inconel 718, which combines selective laser melting and high-speed milling.
