Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Hierl

After his study Prof. Dr. Stefan Hierl worked as research assistant at the university in Erlangen in the field of laser material processing. From 2001 to 2006 he established a company producing laser plastic welding machines. 2006 Prof. Hierl joined the Schaeffer-Group and was responsible for the corporate innovation management until his appointment as professor at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences in 2010. He is head of the laser material processing laboratory and member of the management circle of the Technology Campus Parsberg-Lupburg.
