M. Sc. Jan Wippermann

Jan Wippermann completed a dual mechanical engineering degree at the University of Paderborn as an employee of Benteler International AG and has worked in Sweden and South Africa in the meantime. He has been a research assistant at the Laboratory for Materials and Joining Technology (LWF) at the University of Paderborn since 2021 and has been head of the Mechanical Joining Technology specialist group since 2023. His work focusses on the direct joining of plastics and metals.
