M. Sc. Fabian Friedrich

As part of a dual study programme, Fabian Friedrich completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at Sandler AG and a degree in industrial engineering (B.Eng.) with a focus on materials technology at Hof University of Applied Sciences and the PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore. He then studied materials science at the Technical University of Ilmenau (M.Sc.). Since April 2017, Mr Friedrich has been a research assistant at the Chair of Plastics Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology. Under the supervision of Prof. Seefried, he focuses on hot plate welding and the creep behaviour of semi-finished polyethylene products with high wall thicknesses.
