Dr.-Ing. René Fuhrich

René Fuhrich studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences of Nuremberg and at the Technical University of Chemnitz from 2003 to 2009. He has worked as a Scientific Employee at the Plastics Professorship at the Technical University of Chemnitz since February 2008. There, he is active in the field of plastics joining technology and primarily deals with the welding of plastics. Within the framework of the doctorate, he dealt with the infrared welding of plastics with thermal radiation emitters and completed this in January 2013.
