Dipl.-Ing. Michael Weyer

Michael Weyer studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen specialising in Plastics Processing at the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV). After his graduation in 1984, he worked at Georg Fischer +GF+ in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, initially in the Fibre Composite Materials Division. Later on, he moved into the subject area relating to thermoplastics. He is responsible for the technical documentation for industrial plastic pipelines and conducts international training courses on the dimensioning and laying of pipelines. Since 1990, he has been cooperating not only in various DVS bodies but also in European and international standards bodies as a collaborator or a chairman.
