Dr. Gareth C. McGrath

Dr McGrath joined Gentex Corporation in April 2003, where he is responsible for Clearweld operations...Dr McGrath joined Gentex Corporation in April 2003, where he is responsible for Clearweld operations in Europe and Asia. As a qualified Metallurgist with Engineering, with a PhD in continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites and an international expert in materials joining he has an excellent knowledge of materials and the opportunities for new products and their development. To complement his technical knowledge, he has an MBA from the Open University. Before joining Gentex he worked at TWI from 1989 to 2003, where he was Manager of the Polymer Technology Group and managed a variety of projects in numerous industry sectors, including: medical products, sports goods, automotive, oil and gas, Formula 1 and power generation.
